OptionStarsGlobal takes all such matters extremely seriously and has a zero-tolerance policy on all suspicious activity. We follow robust security and fraud-detection procedures at all times, documenting, investigating and ultimately reporting suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.

Should we find evidence that any OptionStarsGlobal accounts have been used for illegitimate purposes, the accounts will be closed immediately and all funds forfeited.

Identification and Verification

In order to uphold our strict commitment to total transparency and fraud-prevention, OptionStarsGlobal may request appropriate proof of identity before withdrawals can be made. This is simply a means by which we can ensure that all withdrawals and activities are 100% legitimate, for the benefit of the OptionStarsGlobal trader community in general.

We may require copies of:

  • A valid driving license
  • Scans of the credit/debit cards used with your account
  • Utility bills clearly documenting your name and full address

When is Proof of Identity Required?

In order to ensure that the services and trading tools provided by OptionStarsGlobal are used legitimately, we may ask you to submit proof or your identity before making any withdrawals. We therefore suggest that you have all the required documents available and ready to send in electronic format, prior to going ahead with any trading activities.

Inability to provide the required evidence may result in delays to withdrawals, or accounts closures should the necessary documentation not be submitted when requested. We understand the inconvenience this may cause for some traders, though verifying identity is of the utmost important for fraud-prevention purposes.

Sending the Required Documentation

If we require any proof of identification from you, the OptionStarsGlobal team will contact you by telephone to make the request personally. The customer service representative you speak to will explain exactly what is needed and how to go about submitting the required evidence, which will normally include one or more of the forms of ID listed above.

All documents should be scanned in the highest possible quality, or photographed close up using a high-resolution digital camera. Where data is present on both sides of the ID (credit cards for example), both sides must be scanned/photographed and submitted.
